ESPN Zone to close five ESPN Zones, including New York City
ESPN said it is planning to close five ESPN Zone restaurants next week in Washington, Baltimore, Las Vegas, Chicago, and lastly, New York. Only the Anaheim and Los Angeles locations will remain open operating under other management. ESPN who is owned by Walt Disney Co. blames poor economic conditions for the closings.
What a bummer! I always counted on ESPN Zone for watching some of my less televised Tennessee Lady Vols games.
